Subject: Creating Awareness |
| kevin- It's unfortunate what you are going through, but as you know, you are one of the very few fortunate ones who has come so far so quickly...I'm sure you met so many not as fortunate
to recover as much as you have while you were at TIRR. PLEASE use every opportunity you get to create awareness and raise money to support the work that needs to be done to make sure everyone who has gone through this gets access to everything you had and research is funded to find
the cure. I just saw you on the ESPYs and it would have been a great time to tell others how important a cause paralysis is and that it is curable if people pay attention to it. I know you want that to or else why create a charity like this. PLEASE do not let
another opportunity like that pass you and those of us living with this absolutely curable ailment pass
us by. All things happen for a reason and while you may still be finding out what that reason was for you, when you have the opportunity to change
people's view and awareness please do so. Thank you and keep pushing to get back to the old you. Your recovery is the dream for all of us. Namaste. |

Subject: Your foundation |
| Kevin,
I located this webpage after reading about you (again) in the Houston Chronicle last weekend. I am really proud of you for starting this foundation and for all that it will be when it is up and running fully. I recently had my book signed by you and I am VERY impressed with your recovery efforts (aren't the folks at TIRR fabulous??) You have so much to be thankful for but more importantly you have so much to do on behalf of spinal cord injury survivors. Your story is amazing and you need to keep that in the news. You may not be able to play football ever again but you can sure make this world a better place by your efforts. I intend to support you fully. Good luck and GO BILLS |

| Kevin, We miss seeing you on the field, but are thrilled to hear of your recovery. Everyone in Buffalo was thinking of you during your recovery and spoke of you and prayed for you often. I believe I can speak for many in Buffalo - to say we are proud of your accomplishments and devotion to this foundation and devotion to helping others is understatement. Keep up the great work and good luck in all your future endeavors. You are always a Buffalo Bill! |
